Code Enforcement Division

The Habersham County Sheriff's Office is responsible for code enforcement.

The Code Enforcement Division works to ensure that county codes not related to building codes or health codes are enforced. In most cases, as prescribed by county code, a violator of a code must be advised of the violation and given at least 15 days to correct the violation.

To report a code violation, call (706) 839-0150 or email codecompliance@habershamga.com.

For building code violations, call the Habersham County Planning and Development Office at (706) 839-0140.

For possible health code violations, call Habersham County Environmental Health at (706) 776-7659.
